Nantucket Faraway Chocolate is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability. We aim to adhere as closely as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0, Level AA), published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make Web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user-friendly to everyone. Whilst we at farawaychocolate.com strive to adhere to the guidelines and standards for accessibility, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website and we are currently working to achieve this. Be aware that due to the dynamic nature of the website, minor issues may occasionally occur as it is updated regularly. We are continually seeking solutions that will bring all site areas up to the same level of overall web accessibility.

Nantucket Faraway Chocolate Shipping Policy

We take great care to ensure your chocolate arrives in excellent condition. Please review our shipping guidelines below:

 

1. Shipping Locations:

We ship within the continental U.S., excluding P.O. boxes. Unfortunately, we do not offer international shipping at this time.

 

2. Warm Weather Shipping (April through October):

To protect the quality of our products, we do not ship chocolate from April through October. During this period, we offer local delivery on Nantucket and in-store pickup at our retail shop at 16 Old South Wharf, Nantucket. Not all products are available online, as some items are exclusive to our retail location.

 

3. Shipping Days (October through March):

Orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday to avoid delays over the weekend. Orders placed after 12 p.m. (EST) on Wednesdays will be processed the following Monday.

 

4. Expedited Shipping (October through March):

We recommend selecting expedited shipping for all orders to ensure your chocolate arrives quickly and in good condition. Please have someone available to receive your package, especially during warm weather.

5. Order Tracking & Delivery:

A tracking number will be provided once your order ships. Please monitor your shipment to prevent your chocolate from sitting outside in heat or direct sunlight.

6. Refunds:

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. If there is an issue with your order, contact us within 48 hours, and we will do our best to assist you.
